WHAT: Discovery Channel Vertical 10K Run
WHEN: February 12, 2012
WHERE: Stamford Executive Residence for Vertical 10K and route goes around
Venice Piazza Mall, McKinley Hill, Taguig City
DISTANCES and FEES: 3K – PhP500/ 5K – PhP 650/ Vertical 10K – PhP 1000
The 10K Vertical Run is NOT ALL 10K in the Stamford residence building. First you have to run 4-5K GOING to STAMFORD RESIDENCES and then GO UP and DOWN 21 FLOORS and 2 parking ramps and then RAN (or walk or crawl) another 4-5K going back to the FINISHLINE.
PERTINENT INFO for the 10K DISCOVERY VERTICAL RUN:
- There is a water station at the entry and exit point of the building.
- You can bring your own hydration going in the building.
- Take note of the 3.5 Hour Cut-off for the 10K run
- Winner of the 10K Vertical Run gets the chance to compete in the SIngapore Vertical Run in November 2012 or wins a trip to Singapore if the Race does not push through.

The good news is there is a 3K and 5K run that will NOT go UP or DOWN ANY BUILDING. So this one is perfect for you, if you’d like to help EARTH HOUR 2012!
