I was hit up pretty bad with bad ass virus a couple of weeks ago. I even hit myself with a really powerful antibiotic that wasn’t of great help as I thought it would be, because I kept getting the sneezy and runny nose well into that fateful week.
Right then and there, I had to throw in the towel and give up running in the upcoming Milo this coming Sunday. If you like running and doing all sorts of crazy stuff outdoors, I know you hate being sick as much as I do.
I cannot in the life of me run outdoors because of the equally crazy weather, so I had to do something else to be able to get my fitness home, indoors and in the shortest possible time too.
Today, I started on the second week of the Insanity Deluxe 6-day workout program. But during the first week, I had to rest on Day 3 because I CANNOT MOVE MY QUADS WITHOUT PAIN, and on DAY 6 because of a FREAKIN’ IMPINGED NERVE or MUSCLE under my left scapula.
My left scapula still aches, but I still went through with today’s workout. Just been a week of working out with Shaun, but it was what I needed to make up.
So, I am over ranting – and making it up the best way that I can – by working out at home. What I do like about the Insanity workout, I can squeeze it in my routine, in between driving for Sky, working online or doing personal errands.
I just don’t like it when I still continue sweating after a decent bath and an hour after working out with Shaun T.
